This is the assembly from the parthenogenetic Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam strain (Faddeeva-Vakhrusheva et al. 2017); Another genome from a sexual strain from Shanghai (Luan et al., 2022) is apparently a different species.

This FASTA includes six pseudogenes, one incomplete sequence (CYP4778A5-incN), one [[cyp19_clan|CYP19 clan]] sequence. One sequence is found as transcript (GASX02005442.1), but is not found in the annotated genome (CYP4810A2). 

Nine strange sequences are of possible viral origin, and close to the [[cyp51_clan|CYP51 clan]]: CYP5253E1P is a pseudogene,  CYP5253D1 is a Cfusion with OG-Fe(II) oxygenase superfamily domain (all in 2nd exon). CYP51272A1 is apparently also a fusion protein, with exons 6-9 being P450.
